Volunteer Guide Meetings '12
Feb. 14;    Mar. 12;    Mar. 13;
Apr. 10;     May 8;
Do You...
- Enjoy learning about nature?
- Like to share information with children?
- Have a few weekday hours to contribute?

If you answered 'Yes' to these questions, then consider contributing your time and interests to the Delaware Nature Society's Volunteer Guide Corps at Ashland Nature Center, Coverdale Farm Preserve or the DuPont Environmental Education Center. NO special background is necessary, and there is no required commitment level. As a DNS Volunteer Guide, you will determine your own schedule selecting which program topics, age groups, and times that appeal to you.

Training for teaching methods is provided by our professional staff. In addition, outside speakers afford further topical information through monthly natural history meetings and field trips. The Delaware Nature Society offers a wide variety of individual program topics. These include maple sugaring, Native Americans, pond ecology, soil and geology studies, animal homes, insects, birding, and farm life. Join us and contribute to a vital mission of the Delaware Nature Society: to foster understanding and a sense of environmental stewardship in children.

If you are interested in this rewarding program, call 302-239-2334, Ext. 133; or E-mail.
