 Delaware Nature Society Technical Monitoring volunteers in New Castle County collect data on tributaries of the Brandywine, Red and White Clay Creeks, and the Christina River. This data is currently being incorporated into a non-point source pollution water quality model used by DNREC and the US Geological Survey for the Delaware - Pennsylvania Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) effort for the Upper Christina Watershed. In addition, the data has been published in the Delaware Nature Society's State of the Christina Basin Watershed reports and is published every other year in DNREC's Watershed Assessment Report (305[b]).

All training, equipment, and replacement chemicals will be provided free of charge. In addition, all volunteers will be assisted by Stream Watch staff the first time they monitor their site.
